Upstarts

Sara Serpilli is a multidisciplinary artist who is currently living in Dublin. She studied Contemporary Art and Photography in Paris, and recently graduated with a Higher National Diploma in Art and Design (Graphic Design) at Ballyfermot College. Her style is influenced by surrealism, psychology, taxonomy and Italian metaphysical paints, and she works across different media such as watercolor, photography and digital Art. Her art is feminine, bold, colorful and at the same time extremely clean and precise. The main subjects of her artistic quest are Womanhood, Family, Religion, Nature, and she uses Art as a tool for self discovery, reflection, amazement and Joy.

She was featured photographer with her series “Macarena”, FemLens magazine “WeSee”, 2018, expo solo of watercolors at L’éprouvette micro centre d’art, Paris, 2019 and more recently she was selected for RHA 191st annual exhibition, 2021. Her video installation “Giuseppe” about her father was selected for “In cahoots with the earth” at A4sounds art studio in 2021.
