Éimear O’Keane is an NCAD Graphic Design graduate whose work explores storytelling, history, and nature. Her design is often colourful with bold shapes, and added texture that she discovers in the outdoors.
Her personal work over the past year has focused on the promotion of the Irish language as she learns it herself. Through a contemporary lens, she designs works in Irish to show people the beauty of the language and with the hope to spark other’s interest to pick it up too.
Eimear was shortlisted for an IDI award for her degree show work, and has exhibited in the Centre for Contemporary Art, Derry, and Hens Teeth, Dublin.
