Upstarts

There have been many highlights during my creative career. Having a short story I wrote about Zig and Zag read out on The Den in 1987 was a big one. Premiering my first feature film at the Galway Film Fleadh in 2011 was another. But being selected as an ICAD Upstart is surely the pinnacle of any creative’s ambition. Time for a quieter life now, at some quaint little ad agency perhaps, incanting improbable tales in the vague hope of widening less world-weary eyes than my own.
