Mikey is an award-winning copywriter/Associate Creative Director at The Public House. He cut his teeth in Target McConnells, Ogilvy and ICAN before heading down under for a stint in J.W.T. Melbourne. Mikey strives to create the kind of culture-changing work that spreads through WhatsApp groups like wildfire and makes his advertising-hating mates decide not to hit ‘skip’. Recent examples include the creation of an NYPD choir to sing Galway Bay, and giving Irish athletes Sound Support to bring to Tokyo’s isolated Olympic Games. Before joining the ICAD management board, Mikey was an Upstarts mentor. Outside work, he can usually be found chasing his miniature sausage dog Diego around Phoenix Park. He really needs to work on that dog’s recall.
