Debt can rapidly overcome people, and in recent years in Ireland it’s done so on an unprecedented scale. It’s a lonely and suffocating experience. The Insolvency Service of Ireland exists to create breathing room and to help turn the tide. To present that truth as powerfully as possible, we teamed up with a paper sculptor to create a wave (inspired by Hokusai) made entirely out of real bills and bank letters.
