So much YDA news
(and it's all good)
ICAD and CPI have collaborated again on the second annual Young Directors Awards. We were really pleased with the number and standard of entries and are looking forward to the judging this weekend with our esteemed judges Ger Roe, Damien O’Donnell, Jessica Felton and Kate Dolan.
As well as judging the categories you have entered, we’re thrilled to announce that our jury will also decide on the recipients of two very special prizes to be awarded at the upcoming YDA ceremony on February 23rd. Each is a package of time and services of similar value, generously donated by key suppliers, to enable you to work on your next project*.
One prize will be awarded to the 2017 winner of the YDA ‘Film School work’ category. The other prize will be awarded to one young director selected from the highly ranked entries across the other YDA categories. It will be awarded to a new raw talent that may not otherwise be able to access these services, rather than to the top award winner in any of these categories.

The awards themselves (pictured above) have been designed and produced by Shane Holland Design Workshops. To see them being handed out, you can book your place to the 2017 YDA Ceremony here.
