Kathryn Wilson
2017 Design judge
Kathryn is Creative Director at Slater Design where she works on projects involving strategy, brand identity, packaging, print and web design as well as overseeing the overall creative output of the studio. Since graduating in 2003 with a first class honours degree from Central Saint Martins, London, she has worked as a graphic designer in agencies in both London and Dublin – including Creative Inc, The Brand Union and Slater. Over the course of her career, Kathryn has worked on projects for a diverse range of clients including Guinness, Saba, Dublin City Council, UCD, Glaxo Smith Kline, Ferrero Rocher, Electric Ireland, Croke Park, Rachel Khoo and The Bar of Northern Ireland. She has also acted as a design judge for ICAD and the IDI, served on the 100 Archive Past panel and been an ICAD Upstarts mentor. She has contributed articles about design for Grafik, the 100 Archive and taken part in a panel discussion at Offset in the past. Kathryn’s work has been published internationally in design books and online blogs. She is the most recent Past-President of ICAD.
Kathryn will sit on the 2017 ICAD Awards Design Jury.
