Barry Smith joined Boys+Girls in 2017 to take on the role of Head of Design. With a background across both Graphic Design and Art Direction—for agencies like Language, Publicis Dublin and Rothco—he was worked on major brands including AIB, Cadbury, Meteor, TG4, Heineken, Tesco, Murphys, Tayto, Eir, Ulster Bank, Three and Jose Cuervo. He has picked up numerous awards for his work most notably a Bronze Cannes Lion for ‘When It Rains It Pours’, an app poking fun at a Budweiser campaign developed for Murphys Stout. He likes use his crayons to colour inside the lines most of the time. But sometimes he eats the crayons instead.
