WHERE WE LIVE is conceived as a recurring event that challenges the prevailing narratives and set out to re-imagine what our city and country could be.
For the 2018 Patrick’s Festival, WHERE WE LIVE presented a ferocious response to the theme ofHOME in a kaleidoscope of stories about what it feels like to live in Dublin and Ireland today, told by some of the best storytellers on the island. Featuring commissioned theatre pieces; work-in progress showings; dangerous ideas; live art; an exhibition; a talks series; a concert from Ireland’s first homeless choir; a night of performance, poetry and politics; and a day of screenings of Irish-made films that resonate with the themes of the programme.
