The Jameson Cult Film Club screens cult classics in bespoke venues across Dublin. These exclusive events are more than just a chance to see your favourite film on the big screen; they’re a mix of theatre, film and fun, with each venue dressed to reflect the film and actors playing the lead roles interacting with the audience. There’s also a chance to relax with a drink afterwards to at the Jameson Bar.

To promote JCFC’s screening of Ghostbusters we brought a much-loved ghost back from the dead using cutting edge hologram technology.

We designed, built and rigged a 3D Hologram of Slimer and in the run up to the event he was brought all over the city. Slimer dueted with a busker on the keys and even surprised some customers in Sweeney’s Pub.

This media first was made possible through the Kino-mo Holo Display, which is an incredibly smart piece of technology that consists of a fan like machine studded with hundreds of LEDs. When the machine spins at speed it creates the illusion of 3D.
