Hennessy Words Move Us. Hennessy lives by the philosophy of “Crafting the Future”, and this philosophy constantly challenges Hennessy to look for new ways to push the boundaries of creativity. Hennessy – Words Move Us was created to celebrate Hennessy’s sponsorship of the 2017 Hennessy Literary awards. We took the words of 18 emerging writers and brought them to life through technology and typography. Each sample of text was illustrated typographically, then animated. Using motion capture technology we created a live responsive virtual shadow that follows the moves of our dancer, recreating her silhouette. As she moved her silhouette was filled in real time with the words of each writer, bringing the words to life and showing how they have the power to move us.
