To launch Electric Ireland’s new brand platform ‘We’re Brighter Together’, which celebrates the power of Irish people acting collectively for positive change, we enlisted someone who had seen the energy of Ireland all together like no one else, Canadian astronaut Colonel Chris Hadfield. He was the first person to Tweet in Irish from space in 2013, while also sharing images of Ireland lit up at nighttime, which created a moment of national pride and an instant connection with people on the ground. Beyond this, as someone who represents technology at its most inspiring and advocates for sustainability as a responsibility we all share, Colonel Hadfield’s unique perspective and universally respected voice were integral to landing a message that would resonate with people across the country.
