To fuel public awareness and social media activity in advance of the launch of Finding Dory, we left small plastic bags full of water (but without the fish you usually find in such bags) in busy locations around Dublin and Cork. These were tagged with a simple call to action – “Find Dory in cinemas from July 29th”. Within a couple of days, pictures of the bags had been organically shared several hundred times across FB, Instagram and Twitter.
