Signal is a Dublin-based independent type foundry and branding studio. Its new website had to be both an e-commerce site selling retail type licences and a portfolio site promoting its custom type design, branding projects, and collaborations with other studios. Typeface descriptions also serve as type testers: they can be edited and restyled. Text describing branding projects and the studio itself is set in Tedium, a proprietary reimagining of Times New Roman especially designed for this site.
