Advertising Jury 1
2022 ICAD Awards
Jonny Cullen Folk WT
Jonny is a Creative Director and Art Director who joined Folk WT in early 2019. He has over 20 years of experience working in some of the largest agencies in Dublin, from BBDO, McCann Ericsson, Boys and Girls and Rothco.
Mark Shanley — adam&eveDDB
Creative Director Mark Shanley has made many, many ads over the years. First at DDFH+B here in Dublin, later at Wieden+Kennedy in London and now at adam&eveDDB where he works across all of the agency’s most exciting accounts; adidas, Playstation, John Lewis, The V&A Museum and Pot Noodle among others.
He has to date made three very expensive ads that have been pulled, each for a different reason, but somehow still never been fired.
He lives in London with his wife (who he met at the 2012 ICAD Awards) and their two boys, Bill and Frank. He hopes Bill and Frank can grow up in a world where ads aren’t just interruptions but instead actually make people feel something. Something other than annoyed.
Alex Ingarfield — Rothco
Over the past decade Alex has created impactful creative work for clients such as Audi, AB InBev, AIB, Dunkin’ Donuts, Mondelez and Volkswagen. Alex cut her teeth as a copywriter making award-winning work with BBDO, Ogilvy & Mather and FCB in South Africa. More recently, she was selected as one of Ireland’s high potential women for the IAPI Female Futures Fund Bursary. She’s currently based in Dublin working as an Associate Creative Director at Rothco where she helps steer the AIB and Kerry Foods accounts.
Sam Moorhead is the Creative Partner of Showrunner, the culture and entertainment arm of Verve. He has over 10 years experience in the industry, starting out in TBWA/Dublin, before making the move to Boys + Girls with creative partner Mikey Fleming, where he took up the role of Content Lead. Over the years, Sam has created a number of award winning campaigns for brands such as Three, SKODA, Aldi, Jose Cuervo, and Vhi. Having come from the programme himself, Sam has also been a mentor on the ICAD Upstarts Programme for the last three years.
Sam is also co-founder of creative community “The Side Project” and co-founder and editor of writing platform, “Shorter Stories”.
Ivona Poljak – BBDO Dublin
Ivona joined BBDO Dublin in 2018 alongside copywriter Isabel Harvey and has worked on campaigns for numerous clients such as Diageo, Dublin City University, EBS, Health and Safety Authority, Lidl, and Mars. She has also worked on several projects across the BBDO network, including with BBDO San Francisco for Barbie pitch and AMV BBDO. Her work has been recognised two years in a row, at the Kinsale Shark Awards and she received an ICAD Greenhorn award in 2020.
